Mike King has consulted to organizations for over 30 years to create practical approaches to organizational change. He assists clients in building the foundation for change that is needed for successful implementation. Mike focuses on three critical areas of organizational development to enable change: executive leadership, team formation, and the training and development of internal project teams. He has trained, educated, and built skills for thousands of people, many of whom still lead change in their organizations. 


Business Experience

Mike’s ability to develop pragmatic business solutions with his clients is based on 17 years of line management responsibility in the chemicals industry prior to his career as a consultant. While working in the chemicals division at Union Carbide, Mike was trained to consult internally in the areas of organizational development and career transition. This background has provided him with first-hand experience of what it takes to be an agent of change operating from within an organization.

 

As a management consultant, Mike has worked with some of the largest companies in American industry to facilitate company-wide reorganizations and other large-scale change efforts. He has successfully partnered with several major consulting firms to provide expertise in effectively managing the people issues associated with dramatic change.

                                              Mike received a B.S. in Management from Rutgers University and was trained as a consultant 
                                              at National Training Laboratories in Bethel, Maine.
