Jim specializes in consulting and coaching practices that focus on organization development, leadership development and projects designed to substantially improve business results. Having worked in maintenance and management in the mining industry, he brings a unique perspective to consulting by combining organization development theory with the knowledge and application of outcome-based project management distinctions.
Business Experience
Jim has 20 plus years of management and consulting experience. He has consulted, facilitaed, trained, coached and managed clients in North America, South America, Australia, Africa and the U.K. in such industries as mining, energy, refining, and timber.
Prior to joining KCB, Jim worked for Magma Copper (BHP) as an internal consultant and later as the manager of internal development for Magma Metals. After leaving BHP in 1997, Jim was a senior management consultant and project manager for a consulting firm based in Houston and worked in the mining and timber industries across Canada. In 2004, Jim’s work with oil refineries throughout the U.S. led to his working with British Petroleum in their global financial, R&D, and IST services.

Jim holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration and a M.S. degree in Organization
